Multibase India Limited's board approved audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2025, with auditor MSKA & Associates issuing an unmodified (clean) opinion. Revenue from operations grew to Rs 7,074.87 lakhs in FY25 from Rs 6,473.67 lakhs in FY24, about 9% growth. Net profit after tax rose sharply to Rs 1,465.49 lakhs from Rs 1,115.22 lakhs, a jump of roughly 31%. Q4 FY25 standalone revenue stood at Rs 1,595.26 lakhs with PAT of Rs 406.80 lakhs. The company paid a large dividend of Rs 7,067.20 lakhs during the year, which significantly reduced cash reserves and total equity from Rs 13,456.72 lakhs to Rs 7,850.98 lakhs. EPS for the full year came in at Rs 11.61 versus Rs 8.84 in the previous year. The company also received a credit note of Rs 231.62 lakhs from its parent entity towards transfer pricing adjustment.
Clean audit opinion and a 31% jump in yearly profit are positive signals for shareholders. The very large dividend payout boosted near-term shareholder returns but materially shrunk the equity base and cash pile, so investors should expect reduced capital going into FY26. Overall, the results are constructive with healthy profitability growth in the core thermoplastic compounds business.
