NG Industries Ltd reported audited standalone financial results for FY 2025-26 ending March 31, 2026. Net sales/income from operations declined marginally to Rs 1639.48 lakh from Rs 1654.68 lakh in the previous year. Profit before tax dropped significantly to Rs 214.63 lakh from Rs 914.18 lakh in FY 2024-25. Profit after tax fell to Rs 173.38 lakh from Rs 773.95 lakh, representing a sharp decline of approximately 77.6%. Basic EPS stands at Rs 5.47 compared to Rs 21.0 in the prior year. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 3.50 per equity share (35% on face value of Rs 10). The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Other comprehensive income showed a significant loss of Rs 737.29 lakh primarily due to fair value changes in investments, resulting in total comprehensive income of negative Rs 378.39 lakh for the year.
The company experienced a major decline in profitability with PAT dropping over 77% YoY, though revenue remained relatively flat. The significant negative OCI dragged total comprehensive income into loss territory. Shareholders may remain cautious despite the dividend declaration as underlying operational performance weakened considerably.
