Nahar Industrial Enterprises reported strong Q1 FY26 results with standalone net profit of ₹398.73 lakhs, up 474% from ₹69.48 lakhs in the same quarter last year, on a low base. Standalone revenue from operations grew about 9.6% year-on-year to ₹38,762.31 lakhs. Total income rose to ₹40,275.77 lakhs, helped by other income jumping to ₹1,423.01 lakhs from ₹648.95 lakhs. The sugar segment was the key driver, with its revenue rising roughly 66% YoY to ₹6,939.58 lakhs and segment profit more than doubling to ₹962.04 lakhs, while the textile segment saw revenue and profitability decline. Consolidated net profit also surged to ₹409.11 lakhs from ₹77.72 lakhs. The auditor's review report was clean with no qualifications.
The sharp jump in profits is largely a low-base effect from a weak Q1 last year, but sugar segment strength is a genuine positive. Shareholders may see this as a constructive start to FY26, though sustainability of the sugar-driven earnings boost through the year will be the key thing to watch.
