Nahar Spinning Mills submitted copies of its newspaper publication of standalone un-audited Q1 FY26 results, originally approved by the Board on 31 July 2025. Total income from operations stood at ₹82,296.48 lakhs, almost flat compared to ₹82,286.63 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Net profit after tax more than doubled to ₹1,596.23 lakhs from ₹663.94 lakhs a year ago, while profit before tax rose to ₹2,105.23 lakhs from ₹892.94 lakhs. Total comprehensive income jumped to ₹8,565.40 lakhs versus ₹3,341.78 lakhs, and EPS improved to ₹4.43 from ₹1.84. The Board also approved a modernization plan for spinning units (₹325 crore capex) and an 11 MW solar PV system (₹25 crore capex) for captive use.
Strong year-on-year earnings growth despite flat top-line signals better margins and cost control, which is positive for shareholders. The ₹350 crore combined capex plan indicates management's confidence in future growth but may pressure near-term returns and increase depreciation.
