Nath Bio-Genes reported FY26 revenue of ₹4,316 Mn, up 19% YoY from ₹3,623 Mn. However, profitability metrics show pressure — gross margin contracted to 56% from 63% in FY25, and EBITDA margin fell to 12% from 14%. PAT declined 8% to ₹384 Mn despite revenue growth, while finance costs jumped 38% to ₹133 Mn. Segment-wise, Maize showed strongest growth at +78% value, Cotton grew 28% in value, but Vegetable Seeds and PNS (Biopesticides) declined 10% and 17% respectively. The company achieved its first Uzbekistan milestone of ₹15 Crore in international revenue. Short-term borrowings increased to ₹1,212 Mn from ₹1,095 Mn, indicating higher working capital needs.
Revenue growth is strong but margin compression and higher debt levels are concerns. Shareholders may see pressure on near-term profitability despite top-line expansion. The company appears to be investing in growth but at the cost of margins.
