NALCO's Director (Commercial), Shri Sadashiv Samantaray, retired on 30.06.2025 after reaching superannuation. To fill the gap, the company's existing Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, has been given the additional charge of Director (Commercial) with effect from 01.07.2025, following a directive from the Ministry of Mines. This arrangement will continue until a new Director (Commercial) joins or further orders are issued, whichever is earlier. Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh is an IIT Dhanbad Mining Machinery Engineering graduate with over 35 years of experience in mines and steel, including senior roles at SAIL plants.
