NALCO has submitted to the stock exchanges copies of newspaper advertisements published on 20 February 2026 in three newspapers — Pragativadi (Odia), The Statesman (English) and Navbharat (Hindi). The ads are in line with SEBI Circular dated 30 January 2026 and announce the opening of a special one-year window from 5 February 2026 to 4 February 2027 for investors to transfer and dematerialise physical share certificates. Under this window, transfer requests that were previously rejected or returned due to document deficiencies can also be resubmitted and considered. Shares transferred will be credited only in demat form and will be under a one-year lock-in period during which they cannot be further transferred, lien-marked or pledged. Securities already moved to the Investor Education and Protection Fund will not be eligible under this window.
This is a routine regulatory compliance disclosure with no direct impact on NALCO's stock price or financials. Shareholders still holding physical share certificates get a fresh chance to convert them into demat form, which is administratively easier and safer.
