National Highways Infra Trust has informed the Exchange regarding Disclosure of material issue
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT) has announced April 1, 2026 as the Appointed Date for two road projects under Round 5 (InvIT Bundle 5): Amravati-Chikhali-Tarsod and Gundugolanu-Chinna Avutapalli. The Appointed Date follows the signing of the Concession Agreement on March 17, 2026 between NHAI and NHIT's Project SPV (NWPPL), and completion of condition precedents. From this date, the project SPV formally takes over the assets and toll/revenue collection can commence. The intimation was filed on March 30, 2026 with BSE and NSE under the matter described as 'Disclosure of material issue'.
This is a positive operational milestone for NHIT unitholders — Round 5 assets move into the revenue-generating phase, expanding the trust's toll-collecting portfolio. Investors should expect these stretches to begin contributing to NHIT's cash flows and distributions from Q1 FY27 onwards, though the exact revenue impact will depend on traffic and toll rates.
