National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT) filed its quarterly statement of deviation/variation for Q4 ended March 2026, covering three separate fundraisings: (1) Leap Project Institutional Placement (March 2024) raising Rs.6,181.25 Cr — no deviation, funds fully deployed, though Rs.4.38 Cr in BG commission and interest to external lenders was reallocated per unitholder approval dated 12th March 2026; (2) Ascent Project Institutional Placement (March 2025) raising Rs.5,053.48 Cr — no deviation, Rs.4,989.75 Cr of Rs.4,992.48 Cr net proceeds deployed, with Rs.1.69 Cr offer expenses still unutilised out of Rs.61 Cr estimated; (3) Sprint Project Institutional Placement (March 2026) raising Rs.2,468.81 Cr — no deviation, Rs.2,426.73 Cr deployed into NWPPL with Rs.9.26 Cr general corporate purpose funds and Rs.25.34 Cr offer expenses still pending utilisation as of 31st March 2026. The Preferential Issue of Rs.617.20 Cr (Sprint Project) was fully deployed.
The filing shows no misuse of funds across any of the three capital raises. Minor variations in offer expenses and timing of deployment are normal for large infrastructure trust raises. The approved reallocation of funds for Leap Project (interest and BG commission) reflects active capital management. Unitholder approval obtained for the variation is a positive governance signal.
