Nestle India is adding a new Maggi Noodles production line at its Sanand factory in Gujarat. This will add ~20,500 tons per annum capacity (about 14.5% increase) to the existing 141,600 TPA, which is currently running at ~80% utilization. The project requires ~₹90 crore investment, financed through internal accruals, and is expected to be completed in FY 2026-27. This is part of the company's broader capex plan for both greenfield and brownfield projects to meet future demand.
Modestly positive — signals continued capacity expansion to support Maggi growth, funded internally without debt, easing near-term pressure on the Sanand plant.
