Neuland Laboratories reported Q4FY25 total income of Rs. 335.8 crore, down 14% year-on-year, with EBITDA falling sharply by 48.1% to Rs. 58.2 crore and EBITDA margin compressing to 17.3% from 28.7% a year ago. Profit after tax for the quarter stood at Rs. 27.7 crore, down 59% YoY, translating to an EPS of Rs. 21.6. For the full year FY25, total income declined 4.7% to Rs. 1,497.3 crore, while EBITDA fell 27.7% to Rs. 342.8 crore; full-year PAT of Rs. 259.4 crore (down 13.4%) includes an exceptional gain of Rs. 76.4 crore from the sale of an investment property. The Custom Manufacturing Solutions (CMS) segment posted revenues of Rs. 637 crore, driven by commercial-stage molecules. Management described the results as in line with the outlook given at the start of FY25 and said the peptide investment plan is on track, with growth expected to resume in FY26.
Results are weak across revenue, margins and profits, which may weigh on near-term stock sentiment, though the annual figures were cushioned by a one-time property sale gain. Management's guidance of a return to growth in FY26, supported by ongoing investments in peptides and a broadening CMS customer base, could provide some forward-looking comfort to long-term investors.
