Newgen Software Technologies has published its unaudited Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) financial results via newspaper advertisements in Business Standard (English and Hindi editions). Key highlights: subscription revenues grew 19% year-on-year to Rs 121 crore, profit after tax stood at Rs 150 crore with a 15.5% PAT margin, and the company won 12 new logos. On a consolidated basis, total income from operations was Rs 320.66 crore, with net profit after tax of Rs 49.72 crore and basic EPS of Rs 3.53. Standalone revenue from operations was Rs 280.57 crore with profit after tax of Rs 48.69 crore. The results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on 17 July 2025, with no auditor qualifications. The Board has also recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per share for FY25, subject to shareholder approval, and granted 55,300 ESOP options to 5 employees on 1 May 2025.
Steady subscription revenue growth and consistent PAT margins are positive signals, though consolidated revenue dipped slightly compared to Q1 FY25, suggesting some lumpiness in project-based income. The results are unlikely to trigger a major stock reaction as they were already filed with exchanges; investors will likely focus on the subscription growth trajectory and FY26 guidance.
