Nexome Capital Markets (formerly SMIFS Capital Markets) has published its unaudited Q3 FY26 (quarter ended 31.12.2025) and nine-months results in Business Standard (English) and Ek Din (Bengali) on January 23, 2026, after board approval on January 22, 2026. Total income from operations came in at ₹172.84 crore for Q3 FY26 on a standalone basis, sharply lower than ₹899.89 crore in Q3 FY25. The company swung to a standalone net loss of ₹64.1 lakh in Q3 FY26 versus a profit of ₹25.82 lakh in the year-ago quarter, while on a consolidated basis the loss was ₹100.02 lakh (vs profit of ₹24.82 lakh YoY). For the nine months ended December 2025, standalone net profit stood at ₹164.96 lakh, almost double the ₹88.52 lakh earned in 9M FY25, even as the full-year FY25 standalone profit was ₹117.96 lakh. Basic and diluted EPS for Q3 FY26 were negative at ₹(1.64) and ₹(1.52) standalone, reflecting the quarterly loss.
Despite a year-to-date profit, the sharp swing to a quarterly loss and steep drop in quarterly income versus the prior year may weigh on short-term investor sentiment, though the overall 9M profitability shows improvement over last year.
