Nexome Capital Markets Limited's board has approved the conversion of 19,20,000 equity convertible warrants into an equal number of fully paid-up equity shares of Rs. 10 each. The warrant holders paid Rs. 48 per warrant (balance 75% of the Rs. 64 issue price) totaling Rs. 9,21,60,000. Five allottees converted: Promoter Mr. Utsav Parekh (3,88,000 shares) and four non-promoter entities including Panchganga Advisors, Monet Securities, Forbes EMF, and Chivas Trading. The paid-up equity capital has increased from Rs. 8,81,55,000 to Rs. 10,73,55,000 consisting of 1,07,35,500 shares. The new shares will rank pari-passu with existing shares and the company will seek listing approval for the newly allotted shares.
Shareholding in the company will get diluted as 19.2 lakh new shares have been added to the equity base. Existing shareholders' percentage stakes will decrease accordingly, though the company's capital base has strengthened. The conversion demonstrates commitment from warrant holders and may have modest positive sentiment given promoter participation.
