Nexus Select Trust has informed the Exchange regarding Disclosure of material issue
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Nexus Select Trust has informed the exchanges that a meeting of its Board of Directors (through its Manager, Nexus Select Mall Management Private Limited) is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2025. The Board will, among other things, consider and potentially approve raising funds by way of issuing listed, rated, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and/or commercial papers (CPs). The issuance may happen in one or more transactions, series, or tranches, and may be placed with eligible investors as approved from time to time. This intimation has been filed under Regulation 50(1) of the SEBI Listing Regulations. No specific size or quantum of the fund raise has been disclosed at this stage.
This is a routine advance notice (prior intimation) of a potential debt raise rather than a confirmed action, so there is no immediate impact on shareholders. If the Board approves a sizable NCD/CP issuance on April 24, it could lead to higher debt on the REIT's books and marginally higher finance costs, but also signals that the Trust is actively tapping markets to fund growth or refinance existing borrowings.
