NHAI reverts WPI linking factor to 1.641 for toll fee revision

NHAI has restored the WPI linking factor from 1.561 back to 1.641 for toll fee revisions on national highways, superseding its September 2025 circular. The change follows a MoRTH Office Memorandum dated June 29, 2026, and applies to all existing contracts including the Trust's SPVs. A higher linking factor translates to larger annual toll fee increases, which is positive for trust revenue going forward.
