NHPC has declared the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for 107.14 MW out of the total 300 MW Karnisar Solar Power Plant in Bikaner, Rajasthan, effective April 12, 2025, after a successful trial run on April 10, 2025. The remaining capacity is yet to be commissioned and its COD will be communicated later. This is a partial commissioning, with about 36% of the project's total capacity now operational. The project is part of NHPC's renewable energy expansion portfolio.
