Nifty tops 24,000 with a 4th day of gains

Sentiment was lifted by easing West Asia tensions and a deal expected by the weekend, which pushed Brent crude down 1.5 percent to around $77.7, extending the weekly decline above 9 percent. Analysts noted favourable risk-reward in large-caps and small-caps, with the Nifty seen heading toward its 200-day moving average of 24,500-24,600.
