Nippon Life India Asset Management (NAM India) reported strong Q4 FY26 results with Profit After Tax of INR 3.85 billion, up 29% year-over-year. Total AUM reached INR 7,250 billion with market share of 8.89%, making it the 4th largest AMC in India. The company maintained its position as the #1 Non-Bank Sponsored and Foreign Owned AMC. Key growth drivers include ETF business which surged 57% YoY to INR 2,420 billion with 21.4% market share, and systematic flows of INR 108.7 billion in Q4. The company added 2.7 million folios in the quarter to reach 39.4 million total folios, with 23.8 million unique investors representing 38.8% market share. For FY26, the company reported PAT of INR 15,294 million, up 19% YoY, and announced dividend of INR 21.50 per share representing ~91.5% payout.
The results demonstrate NAM India's strong operational performance with market share gains across key metrics. The 29% YoY PAT growth and improving market share position indicate healthy business momentum. The high dividend payout of 91.5% is shareholder-friendly, though the Q4 PAT decline of 5% QoQ may cause some near-term concern.
