NAM India reported its highest-ever quarterly operating profit of INR 4.19 billion, up 15% YoY and 11% QoQ, making it the fastest-growing AMC among the top 10 in H1 FY26. Total AUM stood at INR 7.61 trillion with mutual fund QAAUM at INR 6.57 trillion (up 19.5% YoY). Market share rose to 8.51%, its highest since June 2019, and SIP market share stayed above 10% in September 2025. Revenue grew 15% YoY to INR 6.58 billion, but profit after tax fell 4% YoY and 13% QoQ to INR 3.45 billion. The Board declared an interim dividend of INR 9.00 per share. Management noted SEBI's recent consultation paper may have some financial impact but is 'not as damaging as perceived' and is still being assessed.
Strong operating profit growth and market share gains are positive for shareholders, supported by a healthy interim dividend. However, the YoY decline in PAT, ongoing yield compression of about 2 bps annually, and commission rationalization across 60% of equity AUM suggest some margin headwinds that investors should track.
