NLC India Renewables Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited, has incorporated a joint venture with National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). The new entity is named 'NIRL NCRTC RENEWABLES LIMITED' and will focus on setting up grid-connected solar PV power projects. The equity participation is split 74:26 between NLC and NCRTC respectively. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs issued the Certificate of Incorporation on 27th May 2026.
This JV strengthens NLC India's presence in the renewable energy sector through partnership with a government transport corporation, with NLC holding majority stake. The 74% ownership ensures consolidated earnings from the solar projects once operational.
