NLC India Limited reported record-breaking performance for FY2025-26. Standalone revenue grew 5.62% to Rs.10,864 Cr while PAT surged 32.90% to Rs.2,525 Cr, with EBITDA at Rs.5,006 Cr (up 4.54%). On a group basis, revenue hit an all-time high of Rs.17,490 Cr (up 14.44%) and PAT reached Rs.3,769 Cr (up 38.91%), the highest ever. Coal production rose 11.28% to 19.14 MT, while the company added 1,013 MW of capacity (660 MW thermal, 303 MW renewables). A new mine (Pachwara South) commenced production, and NIRL received a LOA for 600 MW solar with 300 MW / 1800 MWh energy storage. Gol approved NIRL listing via equity issuance and partial stake disinvestment (up to 25%). The stock hit an all-time high of Rs.336.50 on NSE, with market cap exceeding Rs.46,660 Cr.
The sharp PAT growth (32.90% standalone, 38.91% group) significantly outpacing revenue growth signals strong operating leverage and margin expansion, which is positive for the stock. The NIRL listing plan and high-capex cycle also indicate a constructive medium-term outlook.
