NLC India Limited reported its highest-ever Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 2,713.61 Cr for FY 2024-25, with Profit Before Tax (PBT) rising 28.29% to Rs. 3,696.93 Cr. Revenue from operations grew 17.55% to Rs. 15,282.96 Cr, while EBITDA hit a record Rs. 6,512.96 Cr. Operationally, lignite production rose 1.60% to 240.60 LT, coal production jumped 36.08% to 172.02 LT, and power generation grew 2.80% to 27,865.58 MU. The company achieved its highest-ever CAPEX of over Rs. 7,700 Cr. On the expansion front, NLCIL declared the Commercial Operation Date for the 660 MW Ghatampur Thermal Power Project Unit-I, secured two new coal blocks (Machchakata Revised and New Patrapara South), and signed MoUs/PPAs for large-scale renewable energy projects in Assam, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Rajasthan.
