NLC India Limited held its 69th AGM on September 27, 2025, chaired by CMD Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, where 10 resolutions were considered including adoption of FY25 audited financials, confirmation of interim dividend and declaration of final dividend of ₹1.50 per share each (total 30%, amounting to ₹416 Crore), and several director appointments and re-appointments. For FY25, the company reported its highest-ever lignite and coal production of 41.26 Million Tonnes, gross power generation of 27.87 Billion Units (including 2.10 BU of green power), and a record CAPEX of ₹7,736 Crore (254% above Ministry of Coal target). Consolidated Profit After Tax jumped 45.3% to ₹2,713.61 Crore and revenue from operations rose 17.55% to ₹15,282.96 Crore. Market capitalisation touched an all-time high of over ₹43,000 Crore. The company also highlighted commissioning of the first 660 MW unit of the Ghatampur Thermal Power Project, incorporation of renewable energy subsidiary NIRL with ₹7,000 Crore investment approval from CCEA, and new joint ventures in Assam, Rajasthan and Maharashtra for green energy projects.
Positive for shareholders — record dividend of 30% (₹416 Crore) confirmed, along with strong financial growth (PAT up 45.3%) and capacity expansion plans that triple renewable energy capacity by 2030. The mix of record production, falling power dues (-42%) and aggressive diversification into renewables supports a constructive outlook for the stock.
