NMDC Steel Limited has appointed Mr. Krishna Kumar Thakur (DIN: 10172666) as Director (Personnel) on its Board, effective March 19, 2026, for a period of 5 years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment was made based on a Government of India, Ministry of Steel order dated March 17, 2026. Mr. Thakur, aged 52, is a 1998-batch Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer with around 25 years of experience across Indian Railways and CPSUs, including BHEL where he served as Director (HR). He is a postgraduate from Tilka Manjhi University and holds a PGDM-HR from TISS. He is not related to any existing director on the Board and is not debarred by SEBI from holding a directorship.
