NMDC appoints Vivek Nishant Nath as Director (Commercial)

Ministry of Steel, Government of India has appointed Shri Vivek Nishant Nath (DIN 11832511) as Director (Commercial) on NMDC board for 5 years from 15 July 2026. He is a mining and metals veteran with 30 plus years experience across sales, marketing, international commercial operations, and supply chain. He began his career at NMDC in 1992, later worked at Essar Steel and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, and most recently served as Chief General Manager (Sales and Marketing) at Odisha Mining Corporation, where iron ore sales grew from 12.33 MT in FY21 to 38.26 MT in FY26.
