NMDC reported iron ore production of 3.57 million tonnes (MT) in June 2025, up about 6% from 3.37 MT in June 2024. However, sales for the month fell to 3.58 MT from 3.73 MT a year earlier, a decline of roughly 4% year-on-year. The Chhattisgarh unit saw sales drop sharply to 2.34 MT (vs 2.68 MT), while Karnataka sales rose to 1.24 MT (vs 1.05 MT). On a cumulative basis for FY26 (April–June 2025), production jumped to 11.99 MT from 9.19 MT, and sales grew to 11.51 MT from 10.07 MT, reflecting a strong start to the fiscal year. Figures are provisional and submitted under SEBI's listing disclosure rules.
