Shirpur Gold Refinery has informed the stock exchanges that it cannot submit its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, within the SEBI-prescribed deadline. The company is currently under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, following an admission order passed by NCLT Mumbai Bench-VI on June 24, 2024. The Resolution Professional, Ashish Vyas, stated that finalization of accounts has been delayed because of unresolved issues with the suspended Board of Directors. The RP cited difficulties in collating physical and electronic records as the reason for the delay. The board committees are not functioning in their usual form, with the RP fulfilling their roles during the insolvency period.
Shareholders face continued lack of timely financial disclosures, reducing visibility into the company's true financial health. The stock may see weak sentiment due to unresolved insolvency, governance opacity, and uncertainty about recovery prospects.
