NSE cash market turnover hits 23-month high in June

NSE cash market turnover reached a 23-month high in June, even as proprietary traders' share slipped to a six-month low of 33%, indicating broader participation across investor categories. In the derivatives segment, foreign investors raised their share in equity futures to a record high of 31.5%, retaining the top position for a third straight month, while domestic institutional investors increased their share to 13.8%. Individual investors also lifted their share in equity options to 39.3%, underscoring rising retail participation.
