NSE Indices launch 11 new sectoral indices including Nifty Power and Nifty Hospitals

NSE Indices has launched 11 new sectoral indices under the Nifty brand, including Nifty Power, Nifty Hospitals, Nifty NBFC, Nifty Insurance, Nifty Telecommunications, Nifty Construction, Nifty Retail, and Nifty Capital Goods, among others. With these additions, the total number of sectoral indices under the Nifty umbrella has risen to 34, aimed at offering broader and more granular representation of the Indian economy. The new benchmarks are expected to serve as reference indices for asset managers and passive products such as ETFs, index funds, and structured products as passive investing continues to gain traction in India.
