NTPC Green Energy Limited has declared commercial operation of additional renewable capacity at Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary through its joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, effective from 2 April 2026. The addition includes 37.5 MW of solar capacity (fourth part of a 150 MW solar project in Gujarat) and 13.2 MW of wind capacity (seventh part of a 100 MW hybrid project in Gujarat). With this addition of 50.7 MW, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group will rise from 10,075.70 MW to 10,126.40 MW. The project is located in Gujarat and forms part of the company's ongoing renewable energy expansion through its JV with ONGC.
This is a small incremental capacity addition (~0.5% of total capacity) and is likely already priced in, so the immediate stock impact may be limited. However, it supports the company's steady renewable capacity build-out, which is positive for long-term revenue growth.
