NTPC Green Energy Limited has declared the commercial operation of the ninth part capacity of 13.98 MW out of the 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat, effective from 00:00 hrs on 30.12.2025. The project is being developed by its wholly owned subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III. With this addition, the NGEL Group's total installed capacity rises from 7,996.30 MW to 8,010.28 MW. This is one of several phased commissionings of the larger 1255 MW project.
A small incremental addition (~0.17% to group capacity) and is largely already priced in, as it is part of an ongoing phased project commissioning. No material impact expected on the stock price from this update alone.
