NTPC Green Energy Limited has disclosed that the eighth and final part capacity of 105 MW out of the 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat has been declared commercially operational with effect from 28 May 2026. This project is being developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. With this addition, the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group's total installed capacity increases from 10,516.40 MW to 10,621.40 MW, representing the completion of the final tranche of this 1,200 MW solar project.
The successful completion of the final 105 MW tranche of the Khavda-II project strengthens NTPC Green Energy's renewable energy portfolio and operational scale, which is positive for investors tracking the company's capacity growth trajectory.
