NTPC Green Energy has declared the commercial operation of the second part capacity of 91.6 MW (out of the total 250 MW) of a Solar PV Project in Andhra Pradesh, operated through Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power Private Limited (a step-down subsidiary via ONGC NTPC Green Pvt. Ltd. joint venture). The commercial operation date is 27th February 2026. The first part of 158.4 MW was already declared on commercial operation on 20th February 2026. With this addition, the group's total installed capacity has increased from 9,201.08 MW to 9,292.68 MW.
This incremental capacity addition of 91.6 MW boosts NTPC Green Energy's operational renewable portfolio and supports its growth trajectory, which is positive for long-term revenue generation though the near-term stock impact is likely modest given the small relative size.
