NTPC Green Energy Limited announced that the seventh tranche of 90 MW capacity from its 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat has been declared commercially operational from 00:00 hrs on 25 April 2026. The project is owned by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary. With this addition, the group's current commercial capacity rises from 10,363.90 MW to 10,453.90 MW, a net increase of 90 MW. This represents incremental progress in NTPC's renewable energy expansion under its green energy portfolio.
