NTPC Green Energy Limited has declared the third part capacity of 49.125 MW out of its 300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project in Bhuj, Gujarat as commercially operational from 22.08.2025. This project is being executed by its wholly-owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy Limited under the 450 MW Hybrid Tranche V Project. The first part (142.2 MW) and second part (32.8 MW) were already declared on commercial operation in June 2025. With this third tranche, a cumulative 224.125 MW out of the 300 MW project is now operational, leaving about 75.875 MW yet to be commissioned.
