NTPC's subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited has declared Commercial Operation Date (COD) for two solar projects in Rajasthan. Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited achieved COD for the second part capacity of 12.5 MW (cumulative 100 MW of 150 MW project) effective May 15, 2026. Similarly, Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited achieved COD for second part capacity of 50 MW (cumulative 200 MW of 300 MW project) effective the same date. With these additions, NTPC group's total installed capacity now stands at 89,868 MW with commercial capacity of 88,788 MW.
The 62.5 MW additional green energy capacity strengthens NTPC's renewable portfolio, aligning with India's clean energy targets. This incremental capacity addition is positive for the company's growth trajectory and environmental credentials.
