NTPC Ltd has declared 34.4 MW of its Ramagundam Solar PV Project commercially operational effective 29th May 2026. This is the second tranche of a 176 MW solar project located in Telangana. With this addition, NTPC Group's total installed capacity now stands at 90,807 MW, while commercial capacity stands at 88,927 MW. The filing was made under SEBI's Regulation 30 and signed by Company Secretary Ritu Arora.
This capacity addition demonstrates NTPC's continued progress in expanding its renewable energy portfolio and contributes to India's clean energy targets. Shareholders may view this positively as it increases the company's operational generating capacity.
