NTPC has declared the second and final part capacity of 52 MW (out of 245 MW) at Plot-3 of its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan as commercially operational from 00:00 hrs on 22.06.2025. The first part of 193 MW at the same plot was already commissioned on 09.06.2025. With this, the full 245 MW at Plot-3 is now operational under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II, Tranche III. NTPC's total standalone commercial capacity now stands at 60,318 MW, while group commercial capacity has reached 81,420 MW.
This incremental 52 MW solar capacity addition is small relative to NTPC's total portfolio but supports its renewable energy expansion plans. It is unlikely to move the stock materially but reinforces NTPC's steady capacity growth trajectory under government-backed solar schemes.
