NTPC announced that its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has declared Commercial Operation Date (COD) for 9.9 MW of wind capacity, effective September 24, 2025. This capacity is part of a larger 92.4 MW wind project located in Bhuj, Gujarat, operated by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, which is part of the ONGC NTPC Green Private joint venture. With this addition, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC Group has reached 83,036 MW, while the NGEL Group's installed capacity has increased to 7,382.475 MW.
