NTPC Limited has informed the exchanges that its stepdown subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), has declared Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the third and final 120 MW portion of its 220 MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-II) located in Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh, effective from 00:00 hrs on 29.06.2025. With this declaration, the entire 220 MW capacity of Unit-II stands fully commissioned. NTPC REL is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, which in turn is a subsidiary of NTPC Limited. The project contributes to NTPC's growing renewable energy portfolio.
