NTPC has declared 100 MW of its 176 MW Solar PV Project at Ramagundam, Telangana, as commercially operational from 2nd May 2026. This represents about 57% of the total project capacity coming online. The remaining 76 MW is yet to be commissioned. With this addition, NTPC group's total installed capacity stands at 89,805 MW and commercial capacity at 88,725 MW. The announcement was made under SEBI listing regulations for material events.
This is a positive development as it marks progress in NTPC's renewable energy capacity expansion.
