Oceanic Foods Limited reported strong FY25 results with total revenue from operations rising ~34% to ₹14,709.73 lacs from ₹10,971.29 lacs in FY24. Net sales grew to ₹14,235.83 lacs (up ~33%). Profit after tax nearly doubled to ₹494.82 lacs from ₹252.76 lacs (up ~96%), and EPS rose to ₹4.40 from ₹2.25. For Q4 FY25, revenue grew ~23% YoY and PAT rose ~30% to ₹150.92 lacs. However, finance costs surged to ₹266.51 lacs (vs ₹32.24 lacs), total borrowings doubled to ~₹3,146 lacs, cash and equivalents plunged to just ₹3.91 lacs, and operating cash flow remained deeply negative at -₹1,197.72 lacs. The auditor (Kamlesh Rathod & Associates) issued an unmodified opinion.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth is positive for shareholders, but the sharp rise in borrowings and finance costs, dwindling cash, and persistent negative operating cash flow signal working capital strain that could weigh on the stock despite the impressive reported profits.
