Oceanic Foods has resubmitted its FY25 audited results to fix a typographical error in the auditor's report sign date; no changes were made to the underlying numbers. For the full year ended March 31, 2025, total revenue from operations rose about 34% year-on-year to ₹14,709.73 lacs, while profit after tax jumped roughly 96% to ₹494.82 lacs (from ₹252.76 lacs), pushing EPS to ₹4.40 vs ₹2.25. Q4 FY25 revenue grew about 23% YoY to ₹4,413.64 lacs with PAT at ₹150.92 lacs. On the downside, operating cash flow remained deeply negative at -₹1,197.72 lacs (worse than -₹806.64 lacs last year), short-term borrowings nearly doubled to ₹2,955.96 lacs, and cash on hand collapsed from ₹601.91 lacs to just ₹3.91 lacs. The auditor (Kamlesh Rathod & Associates) issued an unqualified opinion.
The resubmission itself is procedural and should not affect the stock, but the strong headline earnings growth is offset by worsening working-capital strain and a near-empty cash position funded by rising short-term debt — investors should watch liquidity closely even as profitability accelerates.
