Odyssey Corporation Ltd has submitted its 30th Annual Report for FY 2024-25 along with the AGM notice, in line with SEBI listing rules. Standalone revenue from operations fell to Rs. 2,833.99 Lakhs from Rs. 3,652.72 Lakhs in the previous year, a decline of about 22%. Standalone profit after tax also dropped to Rs. 282.11 Lakhs from Rs. 366.88 Lakhs. On a consolidated basis, PAT improved modestly to Rs. 375.60 Lakhs from Rs. 355.41 Lakhs. The company did not recommend any dividend. During the year, 3.56 crore equity shares were issued on a preferential basis at a premium of Rs. 9, and 2.2 crore convertible warrants were allotted. Several board and KMP changes occurred in early FY26, and shareholders are being asked to approve a Rs. 500 crore investment/loan/guarantee limit and the appointment of new secretarial auditors for five years.
The sharp drop in standalone revenue and profit is a negative signal for shareholders, though the company is raising fresh capital and seeking wider investment flexibility, which may dilute existing shareholders but gives management more room to deploy funds. The absence of a dividend and reliance on other income to lift total income suggest core operations remain under pressure.
