Oil Price Today (July 10): Crude oil up 6% this week as US and Iran continue attacks. Where are prices headed?

Crude oil prices rose about 6% for Brent and nearly 5% for WTI this week as the US-Iran conflict escalated with Iranian strikes on US military infrastructure in Gulf states. Brent slipped 0.08% to $76.24 per barrel while WTI fell 0.06% to $72.04 per barrel on Friday, despite the strong weekly gains. The Strait of Hormuz, through which around 20% of global oil and gas supplies transit, remains disrupted, with Saudi Aramco warning that prolonged disruption could delay supply stability until 2027.
