Ola Electric reported a sharp drop in Q3 FY26 revenue from operations at ₹470 crore, down from ₹1,045 crore in the same quarter last year — a decline of about 55%. Nine-month revenue fell to ₹1,988 crore from ₹3,903 crore a year ago. The company posted a consolidated net loss of ₹487 crore for the quarter (vs. ₹564 crore loss in Q3 FY25) and ₹1,333 crore for nine months. Loss before depreciation, interest and tax was ₹237 crore in Q3, narrower than ₹333 crore a year ago in absolute terms, but the margin turned more negative as revenue fell faster. The statutory auditor B S R & Co. LLP flagged a 'going concern' matter in its limited review, noting the group had negative operating cash flow of ₹866 crore in nine months due to continued operating losses and lower-than-expected sales growth. Management is banking on ₹1,500 crore fundraise (approved by shareholders in Nov 2025), IPO proceeds reallocation, and new product launches to stay afloat.
The steep revenue fall, ongoing losses, and the auditor's going-concern emphasis are likely to weigh on the stock. Planned ₹1,500 crore fundraise may dilute existing shareholders but is critical for the company's near-term survival and cell-manufacturing expansion plans.
