Olatech Solutions reported standalone revenue growth of 26.4% to Rs 2,660 lakhs in FY26 from Rs 2,104 lakhs in FY25. However, profit after tax declined sharply by 60% to Rs 168.76 lakhs from Rs 424.10 lakhs previously, impacted by a massive 553% surge in finance costs to Rs 139.47 lakhs. The second half of the year showed a loss of Rs 97.43 lakhs before tax, offsetting first half profits. The balance sheet doubled in size to Rs 4,559 lakhs, driven by a new subsidiary acquisition and significant increases in borrowings (short-term up 314% to Rs 748 lakhs, long-term up 399% to Rs 272 lakhs). Inventories jumped 521% to Rs 1,505 lakhs and trade payables surged to Rs 1,431 lakhs. The company acquired 85% stake in Olatech Digital Solutions and 25% in Skillsbiz Education during the period. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications.
The stock may face pressure despite revenue growth due to sharp profit decline and significantly higher debt levels. The large inventory build-up and trade payables spike suggest working capital stress that warrants monitoring. Clean audit opinion provides some comfort.
