Omax Autos reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs. 9,963.65 lakhs, up about 18% from Rs. 8,420.18 lakhs in Q1 FY25, with total income rising to Rs. 11,042 lakhs. Net profit for the quarter was Rs. 752.73 lakhs versus Rs. 735.80 lakhs a year ago, while EPS stood flat at Rs. 3.42. The Board appointed Ms. Kannu Sharma as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, replacing the previous incumbent. Mr. Devashish Mehta stepped down as Chief Financial Officer (he continues as Managing Director), and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar was appointed as the new CFO from July 25, 2025. A final dividend of Rs. 2.5 per share (25%) was recommended for FY25, with the record date set as August 22, 2025. Several directors, including Vice Chairman Jatender Kumar Mehta and Managing Director Devashish Mehta, were re-appointed, while Mrs. Sakshi Kaura shifted from Managing Director to Non-Executive Director.
Q1 revenue growth of ~18% YoY is a positive signal, though profit growth was modest at ~2%. The CFO change is largely a role reshuffle since the outgoing CFO stays on as Managing Director, but the new CFO is the promoter's son, increasing family control at the top. Final dividend of Rs. 2.5/share rewards shareholders pending AGM approval.
