Omax Autos reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of ₹9,963.65 lakhs, up from ₹8,420.18 lakhs in Q1 FY25 (~18% YoY growth), with total income of ₹11,042 lakhs. The board recommended a final dividend of ₹2.5 per share (25%) on the face value of ₹10 for FY25, with August 22, 2025 set as the record date. A major management reshuffle was announced: Devashish Mehta resigned as CFO (effective July 24, 2025) to focus on other engagements but will continue as Managing Director; Sanjeev Kumar was appointed new CFO effective July 25, 2025. Ms. Kannu Sharma was appointed as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer. Several directors were re-appointed, including Vice Chairman & MD Jatender Kumar Mehta for 5 more years and Mrs. Sakshi Kaura was redesignated from MD to Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director. Cost Auditors (JSN & Co.) and new Secretarial Auditors (DR Associates for 5 years) were also approved.
Strong revenue growth and a healthy 25% dividend are positive signals for shareholders. However, the new CFO Sanjeev Kumar is the son of Vice Chairman Jatender Kumar Mehta and brother of Director Sakshi Kaura, meaning the promoter Mehta family now holds both the Vice Chairman & MD role and the CFO position — this strengthens promoter control but may raise governance concerns for minority investors.
